Chippenham Care Village Gets Go Ahead

A £22 million plan to redevelop Chippenham Golf Club and build a home for the elderly has been given to go ahead for Freeman Care. The clubhouse in Malmesbury Road will be demolished and 75 residential units and a 61-bed care home built. Plans were approved unanimously by Wiltshire Council planning committee on 24 November 2010.
