Joshua is 8 years old and has Cerebral Palsy which affects all four of his limbs, his legs more that his arms. Josh enjoys normal boy activities however is mostly dependant on his parents and carers at school for his daily living. Joshua has been accepted for life changing surgery at St Louis Children’s hospital is the USA. This specialist procedure is called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, this is a highly advanced form of surgery, which will eventually allow Joshua to walk with crutches.
