We are a finalist for Business of the Year!

MF Freeman are excited to announce that they are a finalist for Business of the Year in the Gloucestershire Echo and Gloucester Citizen Business Awards 2014.

We will now go head to head with 3 other companies who have also been shortlisted for this prestigious award. The winners will be announced at the Business Awards presentation dinner at the Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse on October 2.

The 17th annual awards attracted a record entry of more than 110 entries from companies and business organisations making our shortlisting even more of an achievement.

Kevan Blackadder, editor of the Gloucestershire Echo, who was on the judging panel said: “We were delighted to have a record number of entries for the Business Awards this year.  There were some strong entries that have not made the shortlists and everyone who is a finalist should be extremely proud. I’m looking forward to celebrating the achievements of both the finalists and winners at the awards dinner in October.”

Jenny Eastwood, editor of the Gloucester Citizen, said: “It was a bumper year for entries which meant the judges certainly had a lot of preparation to do before we convened to decide the winners. I would like to thank them for the time they all put in to judging the categories and I know, among the winners and finalists, we have some great success stories to tell on the awards presentation night.”

The 2014 Business of the Year finalist in the Gloucester Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo Business Awards are:

MF Freeman Ltd, Drybrook
George Bence and Sons Ltd, Cheltenham
John Gillman and Sons Electrical Group, Gloucester
Malvern Tyres, Gloucester
